Our story is a little like an old Hollywood movie. One whose leading man pursued the love of his life through all obstacles and whose heroine was determined to never fall in love again. Just as in the old Hollywood films, love prevailed. It triumphed over stubborn pride and the strong desire to live the constant pursual of adventure. Let's face it, life is an adventure. What's better than to spend it authentically with the one you love. Truly love. A passionately beautiful emotional love.

The weather was a bit of a problem child. First the clouds dropped, casting a foggy mist over the land and hiding the sun from this couple. Although this was present, Duke + Angela had eyes only for them. Reminding us that despite what was going on around us all, they were getting married and committing to a lifetime together. The love they felt for one another was written like a well versed song, it was loud enough for everyone to hear. Through the carriage ride and up until sunset the sun remained hidden behind the clouds. For just one moment, we were graced with the warm rays of the sun, as it was setting beneath the fog and cast a beautiful golden light on the couple as a perfect wedding present to end the perfect day.

Bev + Banjo |Hammer Sky Vineyards

Down the long windy road of Vineyard Dr nestled in the hills of Paso Robles is the grandeur of Hammer Sky Vineyards. The moss trees spoke years of history and life, as their full branches bent towards the earth casting a perfect spot for a romantic meeting.

This beautiful location couldn’t be complete without a beautiful couple and Banjo & Bev were more than we could ask for. Emotions were written all over Banjo’s face as he was preparing to see his bride for the first time. If there is one thing this couple was not afraid of it’s emotion. From the joy they expressed throughout the whole day to the mounds of laughter coming forth from both of them, this couple was truly a joy to spend the day with! A gorgeous couple, at a gorgeous venue, what could be better than that!

Here’s to you Banjo & Bev, may your days be filled with much joy and lots more laughter!!

Patrick+Jessica’s Wedding | Nipomo, CA | Dana Powers House

What a great way to start the year! It was such a blessing to hang out with Patrick and Jessica!! We are so happy for them both and the ceremony was absolutely beautiful, might have even wiped a tear or two away! The day couldn’t have been any better for these two. Family and friends came from afar to join this epic occasion. We hope you enjoy this small taste of what the day was all about!

Michael+Shelly’s Wedding | St. Charles, MO

Life is never what you except. Life is written out for us, paved with love from our Father and chosen before we were knitted in the womb. With this knowledge, I couldn’t imagine trying to coordinate my life, lined up with the man I am supposed to marry, matching rhythms in step with how events need to be played out. It always amazes me that God does all the planning, coordinating, and paving according to His great purpose. He is the ultimate event planner!

With Michael + Shelly, this couldn’t have been more true. Both attended college at Harding, and were acquaintances, but it wasn’t until years later when their paths crossed again that they knew God had designed them for one another. Their love is more than evident. It radiates from a place of waiting, cultivating and growth. It is one that is designed by the Father and beautiful in every aspect. We were so honored to be part of this wedding, sharing in the love Michael+Shelly have for each other and celebrating their joy with some of our best friends in the world.
