12,000 ft. in Elevation was a first for Chase + I. Sure I’ve seen my fair share of mountain sides and summits; climbing 14ers is a passion of mine. I love to climb. But never before have I shot a wedding at this height. To say it was stunning would be a understatement, but yes it was off the beaten path. That was really nice for a change. The location was something you would see in a painting. We were surrounded by majestic mountains, incredible scenery, and the sounds of nature. Sounds of humming birds and the cattle being moved to new pastures by true hearted cowboys. This part of the country seemed preserved somehow, not too big of a human footprint.
It was perfect for Marcus + Tabitha. Tabitha has been visiting this part of Colorado her whole life. In fact her grandparents have a great summer cabin not too far from where they said their vows. Naturally it was a perfect location for their wedding. It was here they fell in love. Where they shared their first kiss. The love between these two was evident. And as the wedding begun what I saw was simple, elegant and a reflection of the beauty of everything around us. Thank you for allowing us to be part of this intimate celebration of new beginning and a beautiful life together.

We love you guys!
Blessings,
Chase+Jaime
